About The Position

As our Human Resources Generalist – Payroll & Benefits Specialist , you are the heartbeat of our internal operations. You will ensure that our nationwide team—the owners of this company—are supported, informed, and paid with absolute precision. You aren’t just "processing data"; you are a strategic problem-solver managing our HRIS (ADP Workforce Now), driving our wellness initiatives, and acting as a trusted advocate for our employees across the country.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience: Solid background in multi-state payroll and benefits administration (ADP Workforce Now experience is a major plus).
  • Technical Prowess: Advanced proficiency in HRIS systems and Excel for data reporting and analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to interact confidently with everyone from front-line employees to executive leadership.
  • Attention to Detail: A "measure twice, cut once" mentality with a documented history of meeting strict deadlines.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A self-starter who sees a process that could be better and takes the initiative to fix it.

Responsibilities

  • Execute high-accuracy, semi-monthly payroll for a nationwide workforce, including commissions and quarterly incentives.
  • Be the ADP Workforce Now Guru: Maintain all employee records, from onboarding workflows to status changes and terminations.
  • Lead the Onboarding Tech: Train new hires and supervisors on time-keeping and self-service features.
  • Audit & Analyze: Run queries and interpret HR data to ensure we are compliant and efficient.
  • Champion our Wellness Program: Create articles, track progress, and use your creativity to drive interest in company-wide health initiatives.
  • Annual Open Enrollment: Assist with broker reviews, plan design, and the drafting of high-impact benefit communications.
  • Employee Advocate: Help team members navigate claim issues and stay current on disability and LOA administration.
  • Compliance Watchdog: Support ACA compliance, census data reporting, and internal procedure updates.
  • Policy Pro: Provide expert advice on company policies and governmental regulations (FMLA, FLSA, etc.).
  • Culture Builder: Maintain the company Intranet with engaging content that keeps our 43+ offices connected.
