About The Position

We are seeking a hands‑on Payroll & Benefits Manager to lead our in‑house payroll processes and support the administration and evolution of our benefits programs. This role is ideal for someone with strong fundamentals, attention to detail, and room to grow—someone who enjoys both technical work and being a trusted resource for employees.

Requirements

  • Hands‑on payroll experience (in‑house preferred)
  • Working knowledge of payroll compliance and wage/hour regulations
  • Exposure to benefits administration across multiple programs or vendors
  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment
  • Tech‑savvy and comfortable with modern HR and payroll systems
  • Approachable, service‑oriented, and collaborative

Responsibilities

  • Own and process day‑to‑day, in‑house payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
  • Administer current benefit programs and support open enrollment, vendor coordination, and employee questions
  • Evaluate and support enhancements to benefits offerings, processes, and systems
  • Serve as an associate‑focused resource, resolving payroll and benefits issues with professionalism and care
  • Work comfortably within web‑based and cloud HR/payroll systems
