The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits professional to direct the implementation of payroll and benefits processing, absence management, and wellness initiatives. As the Payroll & Benefits Manager, your responsibilities will include: Supervising payroll and benefits staff. Assisting agency management staff with payroll, absence management issues, and providing technical assistance. Advising payroll and benefits staff on complex Payroll, Disability, FMLA, Health Benefits, and Wellness questions/issues. Assisting agency managers and staff with timekeeping issues. Managing bi-weekly payroll processing, including system interfacing from Kronos to OAKS. Coordinating health and wellness events (e.g. health fairs, flu clinics, biometric screenings).
