About The Position

The Larson Group is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Specialist to support multi-state payroll processing, benefits and leave management. The Role Own the payroll, benefits, and leave management experience for employees across the business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys accuracy, systems, and supporting people, while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Experience with Leave Management
  • Knowledge of payroll processing, taxes and compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential data
  • Organized, responsive, and comfortable in a deadline-driven environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or at least 2 years of multi-state payroll experience utilizing a HRIS/payroll application.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-through skills. Has the ability to respond quickly and accurately to requests for data, ability to provide excellent customer service a must. Ability to maintain highly confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Process and audit bi-weekly multi-state payroll
  • Maintain HRIS/payroll systems and employee data accuracy
  • Administer benefits (enrollment, changes, Open Enrollment)
  • Support employee lifecycle updates (hires, terms, changes)
  • Manage FMLA, ADA, and leave programs
