The Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees within assigned locations. This role requires strong attention to detail, a thorough understanding of payroll regulations, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The Payroll Specialist collects, reviews, and verifies payroll data, resolves discrepancies, and partners closely with HR, Finance, and department leaders to ensure payroll is completed efficiently and without error. In addition to processing payroll, the Payroll Specialist assists with maintaining employee records, responding to employee inquiries, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws. This role contributes to continuous process improvements and supports reporting, audits, and system updates related to payroll.
