About The Position

As a Payments Partnerships Manager, you will support the day to day partner relationships management, execution, and optimization of Whop’s payments partner ecosystem. You will work closely with leadership to manage day-to-day coordination with processors, fintech partners, and infrastructure providers. The focus is on execution, analysis, and relationship support — not leading negotiations independently.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years in payments, fintech, business operations, or related fields
  • Basic familiarity with card acquiring, settlement, the card scheme, and payment flows
  • Strong communication and follow-through
  • Analytical mindset and comfort with transaction data
  • You operate with an ownership mindset, take responsibility beyond your formal scope, and proactively drive improvements in partner economics and performance without waiting to be asked.
  • You understand payment processor economics and are eager to deepen your commercial experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing relationships with payment processors, sponsor banks, and fintech infrastructure partners
  • Assist in commercial discussions and partner performance reviews
  • Partner with Risk to ensure healthy approval rates, chargebacks, settlement timelines, and processing costs
  • Coordinate integration and operational workstreams internally
  • Help evaluate new partners and prepare internal analyses
  • Maintain organized documentation of partner terms and performance metrics
