About The Position

If you have a love of music, the Berkshires and people then we have a wonderful opportunity to work on our Patron Services team. You will be responsible for answering questions, assisting customers, and providing information regarding all details of Tanglewood both on the phone and in-person.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of all the amenities of Tanglewood's grounds and programs; includes all events, rehearsals, talks, tours, etc.
  • Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to read, understand, and respond to patron emails in a professional, customer-service–focused manner to provide accurate and helpful information.
  • Ability to assist guests with accessing Mobile Tickets.
  • Required to attend customer service training and orientation meetings.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of music is extremely helpful.
  • Foreign languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Patron Services Representative team.
  • Work with team to promote exceptional service to ensure a memorable patron experience.
  • Ensure patron service staff are well-informed and able to provide accurate information regarding performance schedules, Tanglewood layout, and patron services.
  • Manage Lost and Found, disseminating information, and providing general customer service in person and over the phone.
  • Assist guests with accessing Mobile Tickets.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure service excellence.
  • Attends all customer service training and orientation meetings.
