About The Position

The Country Club of North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Patrol Officer to help ensure the safety and security of members, guests, employees, and club assets. Reporting to the Director of Security, this role serves as a visible presence across the property, monitoring club grounds, facilities, and rental homes while responding to incidents and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

Requirements

Valid driver's license
Proficiency with computer systems, including digital recordkeeping and check-in systems
Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred
Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations
Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Availability for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

Patrol club grounds, facilities, parking areas, and rental homes to maintain safety and security
Conduct routine residence and facility checks, reporting hazards, issues, or unauthorized activity
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, coordinating with the Security Department as needed
Monitor and report suspicious behavior or security concerns to leadership
Assist members, guests, and staff with directions, inquiries, and safety needs in a professional manner
Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and documentation of patrol activity
Support access control, traffic flow, and crowd management during events or high-traffic periods
Participate in ongoing security training and drills
Follow all club security policies, procedures, and safety protocols
