About The Position

MPD products can be found in most aircraft, on-board spacecraft, on ships at sea, installed in the latest medical diagnostic equipment, and in industrial service around the world. MPD maintains a high level of vertical integration in manufacturing to ensure the highest possible quality for our customers. Job Purpose: The Patriot Assembler builds weapon system components with precision and accuracy, ensuring adherence to strict quality control standards and production schedules. This role contributes directly to the delivery of critical military and aviation customers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or assembly
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Good communication skills
  • Position may require government clearance

Responsibilities

  • Assemble system components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies according to detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Utilize various hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform assembly operations, including fastening, wiring, soldering, and crimping.
  • Inspect components and assemblies for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform functional tests and verification to ensure proper operation of assembled components and systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, including serial numbers, inspection results, and test data.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes and product quality.
  • May be required to cross-train in other areas of production as needed.
