About The Position

Job Summary Monitors continuously, the communications systems in the transportation office. Directs appropriate personnel to patient rooms, treatment areas, doctor's offices, and admissions areas based on predetermined schedule, telephone calls, or other requests for transportation assistance. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge, skills and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to log, assign, and complete transport requests.
• Knowledge of transportation software.
• Excellent telephone etiquette.

Nice To Haves

• HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Handles all requests for Transportation.
• Performs transporter duties as necessary to fulfill hospital and department mission.
• Completes assigned goals.
