This role involves processing patient registration, verifying demographics, obtaining insurance information, and patient identification. Key duties include scheduling appointments, transcribing orders, explaining financial options to patients, and accurately updating medical records. The PSR is expected to provide excellent customer service and may be required to occasionally cover other physician practice locations.
