About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate degree preferred)
  • Prior healthcare or administrative experience preferred
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Responsibilities

  • Perform clerical duties including answering phones, managing correspondence, and greeting patients and visitors
  • Maintain and update patient records accurately in EMR systems
  • Coordinate communication between nursing staff, physicians, and departments
  • Schedule patient appointments, tests, and procedures
  • Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges by preparing documentation
  • Monitor and order unit supplies as needed
  • Ensure documentation compliance with facility policies and confidentiality standards
  • Provide administrative support to clinical and nursing staff
  • Maintain an organized and efficient work environment
