Requirements

  • Strong management experience required, preferably in a healthcare, high-volume catering, or large-scale food service environment.
  • Strong union management experience is essential for success in this role
  • Growth mindset: Eager to learn, proactive, and committed to high standards of patient service.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule , typically 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM, including rotating weekends (schedule may vary based on the business need).

Nice To Haves

  • Administration (A Plus): Experience with payroll processing and food service technology (e.g., patient meal systems) is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight: Directly manage and oversee critical daily kitchen operations, including meal delivery, patient tray line assembly, and tray retrieval.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a large team of approximately 25 union employees, focusing on scheduling, performance management, training, and maintaining strong, positive labor relations.
  • Union Management: Leverage your strong union experience to ensure harmonious labor relations and adherence to collective bargaining agreements.
  • Process Management: Ensure rigorous compliance with all food safety (HACCP), sanitation, and regulatory standards.
