The Patient Service Associate role is based in The Crossings CP Multispecialty Suite and involves registering patients, updating insurance information, scheduling visits, and coordinating patient appointments. Key responsibilities include interacting with a diverse patient population, utilizing electronic medical records for patient record maintenance, and ensuring compliance with state and government agency requirements for consents, especially for wards of the state. The associate must also adhere to payer requirements for referrals and authorizations within their assigned specialty, schedule follow-up appointments, and manage prior authorizations. Professional and timely communication with providers, patients, clinical care teams, and insurance companies is essential, as is answering and directing incoming phone calls. The position requires adherence to an established dress code and periodic travel across other Multispecialty offices within a 50-mile radius.
