At WakeMed MyCare 365 in Zebulon, our Patient Registration Representatives are often the first smiling face a patient sees—and the person who sets the tone for the entire care experience. We’re looking for a Bilingual Patient Registration Representative who can provide exceptional service to both English‑ and Spanish‑speaking patients. You’ll help patients check in, schedule follow‑up appointments, and navigate their visit with confidence—all while ensuring accurate registration and financial information is captured. You play a key part in ensuring every patient has a smooth, positive experience from the moment they walk through the door. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: Customer Service Deliver compassionate, inclusive care using the WakeWay behaviors. Welcome patients warmly, answer questions, and ensure consistent service across the WakeMed system. Registration & Scheduling Check patients in for appointments and confirm ID. Enter demographic data, obtain signatures, and assist with electronic check‑in. Schedule and reschedule appointments, transcribe physician orders, manage work queues and waitlists, and support MyChart access. Financial & Insurance Support Enter and verify insurance information. Confirm eligibility and coverage priority. Obtain authorizations, provide patient estimates, and collect copays and payments. Maintain an accurate cash drawer. Communication Use clear written and spoken communication across multiple platforms (phone, text, EMR messaging). Provide basic bilingual interpretation to support patient understanding and access to care.
