Patient Observer (Full Time or Part Time)
About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and attentive Patient Observer to provide continuous monitoring and support for patients requiring close supervision. This role is critical in maintaining patient safety, preventing falls or self-harm, and ensuring a secure and supportive environment. The Patient Observer provides continuous observation of assigned patient(s) and works under the direction of clinical staff.
Requirements
- High school graduation or General Education Diploma (GED) required
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of the health care environment is preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides continuous supervision for patients who are at risk for falls, pulling at lines, are mildly confused or impulsive
- Communicates patient care needs to nursing staff
