The Specialist provides leadership and support to the Financial Counseling team. In addition, this position acts as a resource for business functions related to all vendor and/or department operational processes and tasks. Uses effective customer service/interpersonal skills at all times. Present a team oriented, leadership role, promoting vision, goal-oriented direction, and creativity within work teams. Exercises a high degree of control over confidential information. Utilizes operational reporting to identify areas of opportunity for improvement. Uses logic, data and reasoning for decision making. Uses process improvement techniques, including LEAN thinking, in daily work processes. Responsible in maintaining vendor documentation/reporting. Schedules and lead vendor quality and/or scorecard meetings. Maintains all vendor portals and processes all vendor accounts. Works reports per priority matrix. Trains new hires on team specific functions/processes. Supports staff and acts as a resource for questions. Assists with quality reviews and productivity. Ensures metrics perform within established parameters. Compiles and order supply requests for the department. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Health Services Administration or Business related field.
  • In lieu of degree, consideration will be given to a candidate with three (3) years revenue cycle experience and/or 1-2 years of post-high school education.
  • Two (2) years of experience specific to discipline.
