About The Position

One Community Health is seeking a Patient Experience Specialist to join our team and mission at our clinic located in The Dalles, Oregon. This position is full-time, Monday- Friday. The Patient Experience Specialist will include a variety of responsibilities, including coordination of safety efforts, acting as an advocate for a positive patient environment and experience, assisting with escalated patient situations, and providing support to various teams. This position will perform Welcome Team Receptionist duties in addition to supporting a positive experience for our patients. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date
• Previous experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorder
• Relevant experience in patient de-escalation
• Prior experience in customer service
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and workplace safety principles

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience with EPIC EMR
