About The Position

Make a Daily Impact in Patient Care at Jamaica Hospital Sodexo is seeking a Patient Experience Manager 2 to lead patient service operations at Jamaica Hospital in Jamaica, NY. Reporting to the General Manager, this position oversees a team of up to 70 union employees and plays a key role in driving a positive, consistent patient experience. In this role, you will support daily patient foodservice operations, including tray line oversight, meal ordering, patient rounding, purchasing, inventory control, and staff scheduling. You’ll collaborate closely with clinical and client partners to enhance patient satisfaction and support service excellence across the hospital. We’re looking for a hands-on leader with strong communication skills, experience working in a union environment, and a passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality service. Requirements

  • Experience supervising teams in healthcare, hospitality, or foodservice
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to patient satisfaction and service excellence
  • Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Functional Experience: 3 years

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a large frontline team in a unionized environment

  • Manage scheduling, timekeeping, and labor standards
