About The Position

As a Customer Service Representative in Patient Registration, you will be the first point of contact for patients checking into the hospital. This role involves helping patients navigate the registration process, answering questions with confidence and compassion, gathering accurate information quickly in a fast-paced environment, and building trust with patients during potentially stressful times. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Ability to pass background check, drug test, and meet vaccination requirements

Responsibilities

  • Work across multiple computer systems to register patients efficiently
  • Answer phones and gather information quickly and accurately
  • Assist patients who may be ill, anxious, or confused
  • Navigate diverse insurance plans and coverage details (with training!)
  • Adapt to interruptions from clinical teams during urgent care situations
  • Build rapport and ease patient concerns in real time
