Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Social Work is required. Equivalent experience may be accepted in place of a Bachelor’s degree in nursing (an RN license or social work license is mandatory).
  • If you are a Registered Nurse, you must hold a valid license to practice in Michigan. Additionally, for individuals hired into this position after January 1, 2015, obtaining a BSN within five years of the start date is mandatory.
  • Candidates must have recent hospital patient care experience (at least three years) and a solid understanding of hospital operations.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Social Work.
  • Comparable experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in nursing (must have RN license or social work license).
  • If Registered Nurse, must be licensed to practice in Michigan.
  • Also, for those hired into this job after January 1, 2015, it is required to obtain a BSN within 5 years of start date.
  • Must have recent hospital patient care experience (minimum 3 years) and knowledge of hospital operations
  • Strong interview, assessment, organizational and problem solving skills and ability to work independently
