This Per Diem Patient Care Assistant role ensures the delivery of the highest quality of patient care, assisting staff nurses in providing comprehensive attention to patients and families, while working in an environment that commands clinical excellence every day. Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
At least one year of experience as a nursing attendant, emergency technician, or armed medical corps
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Customer service strengths
BLS - AMERICAN HEART certification with expiration date
PCT/CNA/EMT CERT with expiration date

Responsibilities

Assist staff nurses in providing comprehensive attention to patients and families
Provide input for patient care plans
Review patient status
Assist in obtaining patient data
Monitor changes in patient conditions
Support admission and discharge processes
Make patients and families feel at home
