SUMMARY: Responsible for responding to all incoming calls, and assisting patient's with direct registration, eligibility, and payment updates.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree required.
  • One-year prior experience in customer service required.
  • Must have basic typing, 10-Key, and word processing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the supervisor as requested.
  • Answer phone calls on a daily basis. Must be able to handle several incoming lines and direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely professional manner.
  • Assist in updating of patient demographics/registration
  • Assist in verifying patients' insurance eligibility.
  • Complete QRM occurrence reports as needed.
