SUMMARY: Responsible for responding to all incoming calls, and assisting patient's with direct registration, eligibility, and payment updates.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree required.
- One-year prior experience in customer service required.
- Must have basic typing, 10-Key, and word processing skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist the supervisor as requested.
- Answer phone calls on a daily basis. Must be able to handle several incoming lines and direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely professional manner.
- Assist in updating of patient demographics/registration
- Assist in verifying patients' insurance eligibility.
- Complete QRM occurrence reports as needed.
