About The Position

The Western Region Consolidated Business Office (WCBO) delivers comprehensive insurance revenue services to our affiliated UHS facilities, encompassing billing, collections, cash posting, pre-access management, variance analysis, and customer service. The Patient Account Specialist handles incoming/outgoing customer calls and reroutes calls to appropriate departments. This role provides product/services healthcare information, resolves issues, and ensures customer satisfaction. Requirements

  • 1+ years call center/healthcare customer service experience
  • High School or equivalent
  • Computer proficiency: Microsoft Works, Excel, and database entry
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain patient under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills
