Requirements

  • Minimum associate’s degree.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in a medical field with medical insurance.
  • Excellent communication skills with emphasis on customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Processes patient statements (outbound) according to the appropriate schedule, including final notices.
  • Answer inbound calls from patients in order of when they are received, managing the patient statement line, and corresponding voicemails.
  • Create and maintain necessary reports that facilitate the workflow and report results.
  • Route calls to Full Cycle Billers, Schedulers, and Verifiers as needed to assist the patient in fulfilling their needs.
  • Review, analyze, interpret, explain, communicate, balance, and correct patient accounts to identify and resolve billing and processing problems in a timely manner.
  • Process patient payments, and post payments to the patient accounts.
