Supports transplant programs: Lung (#1 in US in recent years), Heart, Liver, Kidney, Pancreas at TUH; Bone Marrow at Jeanes Hospital. Additional services: HLA disease and hypersensitivity associations; platelet transfusion support at TUH, Jeanes, and Fox Chase Cancer Center. Team structure: 9 technologists + 1 manager; close-knit group with 24/7 stat on-call coverage. Clinical collaboration: Monitor HLA antibody status pre- and post-transplant; estimate risk of antibody-mediated rejection for organ offers in sensitized/transplanted patients.
