Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Current HT/HTL certification through American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
• Four (4) years of experience as a Histology Tech, with two (2) years of laboratory supervisor experience.
• All applicants must submit to a Color-Acuity screening
• Computer skills: knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel): basic statistics skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• BS degree in science

Responsibilities

• Implements, plans, organizes, and staffs the work activities of the Laboratory during each shift to provide laboratory services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Collaborates with various departments, medical staff and others as necessary to assure that pathology systems, techniques and procedures are appropriate for departmental services.
