Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Minimum 1-year hospital laboratory experience required or Associates Degree in Biology

Responsibilities

Assist the Pathologist in the gross room and autopsies
assisting at frozen sections
assisting at fine needle aspiration biopsies
stocking and delivery of supplies
transport specimens and slides
filing
answer telephone
handle hazardous materials
accurately label and number the cases
Special projects or other assignments may be given with expectation to be completed in a specified timeframe.
