Job Description The Patent/IP (intellectual property) Attorney Expert provides legal advice and counsel for a broad range of businesses and moderately complex/moderately sensitive issues, particularly patent preparation and prosecution, open source, and IP counseling. In this role, the employee drives execution of key strategies within the department, discipline, or team, and supports enterprise wide matters relating to intellectual property, technology, cybersecurity, AI, commercial, risk management, and/or data management. The Patent/IP Attorney Expert will also interview inventors, conduct patent harvesting sessions, and prepare and prosecute patent applications before the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO).
