About The Position

We are seeking a talented and hands‑on Pastry Supervisor to support our culinary leadership and oversee day‑to‑day pastry operations. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about baking, takes pride in craftsmanship, and enjoys coaching team members in a fast‑paced environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in pastry or baking; supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor team members
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Able to work mornings, weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed
  • ServSafe or food handler certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Work in hot, cold, and high‑production environments

Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily production of pastries, desserts, breads, and specialty items
  • Lead and support a team of pastry cooks, bakers, and utility staff
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all pastry products
  • Train team members on techniques, recipes, safety, and sanitation practices
  • Maintain inventory, monitor par levels, and communicate ordering needs
  • Support the Executive Chefs with menu development, specials, and seasonal offerings
  • Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
  • Oversee station set‑up, break‑down, and cleaning schedules
  • Collaborate with culinary and front‑of‑house partners to ensure service excellence
