About The Position

Husk is seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team and help lead one of Nashvilles most exciting dining destinations. Located in the heart of downtown Music City , Husk celebrates the rich history and evolution of Southern cuisine. Our ingredient-driven menu begins with the rediscovery of heirloom products and local traditions, redefining what it means to cookand eatin Nashville. You are someone who takes pride in precise technique, creativity, and consistency in the pastry arts. This is a hands-on role perfect for a driven professional who brings both creativity and consistency to the table, while contributing to a dynamic, high-performance kitchen

Requirements

• 1+ year of pastry experience in a professional kitchen or bakery
• Detail-oriented, organized, and focused on consistency
• Passionate about pastry technique and open to learning
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen
• Reliable, punctual, and able to take direction well

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of pastries, plated desserts, breads, and components according to standardized recipes
• Assist in menu development, seasonal dessert features, and daily prep
• Ensure consistency in quality, presentation, and portioning
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked pastry and prep stations
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and allergen protocols at all times
• Work closely with the BOH team to support service and special events
