About The Position

Preparation of all pastry products as trained in accordance to Pastry shop standards; assists higher level bakers; other duties as assigned by Chef.

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) year pastry experience or training equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language.
  • Previous experience in resort cooking, baking, or pastries.
  • High-volume cooking or baking experience
  • Ability to follow recipes.
  • Ability to follow directions and work without daily supervision.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy.
  • Experience reflects tasteful plate presentations.
  • Proven decorating ability with cakes and desserts.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a team oriented, fast paced environment that fosters creativity.

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary Degree or Certificate from an accredited school.
