What You’ll Be Doing May include, but not limited to: Assist with Production, according to the established standards of the Pastry Chef of all Bakeshop products, included but not limited to; cakes, breakfast pastries, bread production, ice cream, confections and overall needs of all GHG hospitality group outlets. Aid in the preparation and execution of all the breakfast parties for the banquets department as required by the team's leadership. Prepare ingredients for service in accordance with all kitchen SOP’s, procedures and recipes Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance with kitchen standards and local food code Communicate effectively with chef and cook team Have basic Knowledge in Cakes, Custards, Pies and Cookies. Understand and follow all standardized recipes as given by Pastry Chef Executing demands efficiently in a high volume kitchen Maintain highest level of kitchen cleanliness and organization Maintain a favorable working relationship with fellow associates in the Banquet kitchen and other GHG outlets Participate in the breakdown and cleaning of bakeshop floors, walk-in coolers, surfaces and equipment at the end of each shift.
