About The Position

As a Marketing Intern, you will assist the marketing team with day-to-day marketing activities while gaining hands-on experience supporting Kalamazoo Country Club’s marketing efforts. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Capture and create social media content including photos and short-form video highlighting golf, racquets, dining, events, and member experiences across the Club. Assist with social media scheduling and posting while helping maintain a consistent and engaging online presence. Support content creation needs including lifestyle photography, short videos, and behind-the-scenes moments that showcase the Club experience. Assist with analytics and reporting from membership and marketing platforms to help identify engagement trends and opportunities. Support earned media efforts including assisting with press materials and tracking media coverage. Assist with professional photo and video shoots that capture key Club amenities and experiences. Help organize and maintain marketing assets such as photos, videos, and promotional materials. Support marketing initiatives tied to member programming, events, and seasonal campaigns. Assist with day-to-day marketing coordination and administrative tasks that help keep campaigns moving forward. Throughout the internship, you will gain exposure to how marketing supports membership growth, engagement, and storytelling within a premier private club environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field (junior or senior preferred).
  • Interest in social media, digital marketing, and content creation.
  • Comfortable capturing photo and video content using a smartphone or camera.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally and comfortable moving around an active hospitality environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or social media tools is a plus.
