Country Club of York (CCY) is seeking a talented, creative, and detail-oriented Pastry Chef to join our premier culinary team in a part-time capacity. This position plays an essential role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our members through high-quality pastry and dessert production. This role is ideal for a culinary professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, presentation, and consistency. The Pastry Chef will prepare and decorate a wide variety of baked goods and desserts for daily dining service and special club functions while maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and food quality. Ideal candidates bring: Strong knowledge of pastry production principles and techniques Skilled cake and pastry decoration abilities Attention to detail with an artistic and refined presentation style Experience preparing a wide range of baked goods including cakes, pies, pastries, custards, icings, and specialty desserts A strong commitment to sanitation, safety, and food quality standards Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment such as mixers, convection ovens, proofers, steam kettles, and food processors A team-oriented mindset and clear communication skills ServSafe Certification A minimum of three (3) years of pastry experience in a club, hotel, restaurant, retail, or institutional setting is preferred. A certificate or diploma from a recognized bakery or pastry culinary arts program is also preferred.
