Your mission Own the build of electrical control racks, wire harnesses, and sub-assemblies for world-class passenger railcars. In our fast-paced, collaborative production environment, your craftsmanship transforms drawings into dependable rail systems. A day in this role Start with prints and instructions—blueprints, wiring diagrams, parts/wire lists, sketches, and verbal guidance—and plan your build. Assemble major coach sections: roofs, cable harnesses, mounted hardware, electrical racks and panels, plus air-supply racks and associated piping. Cut conductors to spec, route through channels, twist/wrap/tie, and terminate to connectors, terminals, and contact points. Troubleshoot and improve: disassemble, modify, rework, refurbish, and reassemble to meet quality and function. Apply high dexterity and fine motor control to fit and secure small parts accurately—often overhead. Schedule Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED, or comparable education/experience in a manufacturing or similar setting.
  • Experience from electrical panel assembly, construction, automotive, or electrical service environments.
  • Demonstrated electro-mechanical assembly experience.
  • Basic English communication skills (written and verbal).

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings/diagrams and parts lists preferred.
