About The Position

Ziegler CAT has an opening for a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily warehouse operations. This position will also focus on process improvement, employee betterment, and increased customer satisfaction. Requirements

  • 3 years of warehouse experience required

Responsibilities

  • Tracks and reviews incoming and outgoing freight schedules and receipts
  • Supervises shuttle truck routes and scheduling to ensure customer needs are met
  • Manages daily workflow within the department by establishing operating procedures and policies and prioritizing, distributing, and monitoring work assignments
  • Establishes package tracking standards
  • Works with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and timeliness
  • Promotes company safety policies and contamination control efforts, ensuring both are observed
  • Works closely with the Parts Operations Manager with issues regarding customers, employees, and equipment
  • Along with Parts Operations Manager, interviews, selects, and hires employees for their team, following dealership hiring procedures
  • Resolves workplace conflicts, taking appropriate, respectful, and consistent action to resolve performance issues and communicates/works with Parts Operations Manager as necessary
  • Promotes and models good customer relations
