About The Position

We are a fast-growing startup boat dealership focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences, high-quality marine products, and reliable service. As we build our brand from the ground up, we’re looking for a driven, hands-on Parts & Service Manager to lead and shape our service operations. The Parts & Service Manager will be responsible for launching, managing, and scaling the dealership’s service and parts departments. This role requires a strong leader who can balance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth while building processes from scratch.

Requirements

3–7+ years of experience in marine, powersports, automotive, or similar service management
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (marine experience preferred but not required)
Proven leadership and team-building experience
Experience with service department KPIs, inventory management, and P&L responsibility
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment with evolving processes
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Build and manage the service and parts departments, including hiring, training, and developing technicians and support staff
Establish workflows, service processes, and inventory systems to ensure efficiency and profitability
Deliver top-tier service, handle escalations, and build long-term customer relationships
Drive service and parts sales through up selling, service packages, and preventative maintenance programs
Manage parts ordering, stocking levels, vendor relationships, and cost control
Oversee service scheduling, technician productivity, and turnaround times
Ensure all work meets manufacturer standards, warranty requirements, and safety regulations
Collaborate with ownership on systems, tools, and strategies to scale the business
