About The Position

The Monarch Parts Sales & Service Representative will be responsible for increasing sales and service revenue by generating parts sales and service work for diesel/industrial engines in their respective branch locations. This position offers a base salary plus commission.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of successful relevant work experience in the industrial equipment field.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to interact seamlessly with all levels of colleagues.
  • Proven sales growth/track record and a self-motivated individual.
  • Excellent customer relations and relationship building skills.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, emails, typing, etc.).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Clean driving record and must be insurable
  • Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holiday to meet business needs.
  • Regional travel required up to 75% of the time.
  • Overnight travel is rare, but possible.
  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use repetitive motion with phone, computer, keyboard, and mouse.
  • Ability to see, hear, and talk with necessary individuals who this role will partner with.
  • Ability to travel by car or plane for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Target key customers for growth opportunities and build customer relationships related to various off-highway diesel equipment.
  • Research, prospect, and generate parts sales growth and service labor growth within the defined territory.
  • Develop new sales channels for B2B and B2C opportunities
  • Aggressively cold call to uncover new customers
  • Find and explore leads for engine opportunities and send to the appropriate sales team
  • Work with senior leadership to develop budgets and regular forecasts
  • Partner with Marketing on promotions and literature related to Parts and Services sales
  • Track all activities and leads within the defined territory
  • Attend and contribute to regularly scheduled team & one-on-one meetings
