About The Position

The Parts Room Clerk will maintain inventories of production supplies and maintenance parts in storeroom.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret in the English language correspondence, general business reports, professional journals, technical procedures or reports.
• Ability to write clear, accurate, concise reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors.
• Ability to apply mathematical applications to practical situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and or schedule form.
• Ability to use computers and all standard programs used by the industry and the ability to learn and effectively use any and all other computer programs that are or will be made available.
• Ability to move about the facility.
• Required to sit; use hands and fingers to handle or feel/hold objects; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; speak; hear taste and smell.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventories of production supplies and maintenance parts in storeroom.
• Issue receipts and perform inventory counts.
• Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry and answering telephones.
• Receive, unpack and deliver goods; re-stock items as necessary; labels shelves.
• Ability to work with people toward common goals with professionalism.
• Willingness and ability to receive and follow directions from supervisors.
• Will be required to take basic forklift training and safely operate a forklift.
• Ability to multi-task due to fast paced environment.
