About The Position

This position is responsible for inventory control in the maintenance shop, as well as receiving and storing parts, maintenance supplies, and miscellaneous receivers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Duties: Ability to grasp, grip, twist, pull bend and stoop for 12-hour shifts. Must be willing to individually lift up to 40 lbs. repetitively through your shift and 100 lbs. occasionally with assistance from others. Tech will be walking, standing, bending, pushing, pulling in all types of weather.

Requirements

• Computer: General knowledge of computers and E-mail systems (Microsoft office experience preferred)
• Recognize and document equipment ID numbers, mileage readings and signage
• Document part numbers on log sheets and work orders, track parts usage
• Valid driver’s license and safety toed foot ware are required
• Must pass MVR check: Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must not have any DUI/DWI convictions within the last 12 months
• Must have 3-month work history in past 6 months listed on application
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation”
• Prior Tyson team members are eligible for rehire after completing a 180-day rehire waiting period and 3-time limit
