About The Position

Tampa is now hiring for a Parts Room Assistant! Purpose: To dispense and control all parts activities from their assigned parts room and manage inventory within their assigned areas. To control parts spend and monitor and continuously decrease maintenance parts costs by spend and consumption.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Mechanical aptitude
• Equipment knowledge
• Problem solving abilities
• Computer and telephone skills
• Ability to be a team player
• Manual dexterity for data entry
• Stooping
• Standing
• Good listening and speaking ability
• Ability to lift 60 to 100 pounds

Responsibilities

• Dispense proper parts as needed to technicians
• Operate a clean and organized parts room
• Ship and receive parts
• Control costs
• Monitor turn rates and inventory closely
• Continuously strive for cost and inventory reduction without compromising operations
• Issue POs and parts for equipment
• Execute cycle counts on time and accordingly schedule
• Follow single sourcing parts programs that our implemented
