Position Summary Farmer Focus is looking for a Floating Parts Room Attendant! In this position, the parts room attendant will perform various tasks to support operations by organizing parts, tools, and maintaining accountability and inventory. They will be responsible for ordering and reordering parts and for suppling parts to maintenance, operations, and authorized personnel. This position will float between our Acorn and Liberty Plant, covering both 1st and 2nd shift. The hours will be from 6:00 AM- 4:00 PM and 4:00 PM-2:00 AM.

Requirements

  • Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to complete preform job duties unsupervised and unassisted
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Constant standing, occasional frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling and reaching.
  • Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of parts experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining the reliability of the parts/supply room inventories for maintenance and operations.
  • Receive delivered parts and replenish parts as needed, organize, and maintain the parts/supply room in clean and in order.
  • Create work orders for parts
  • Daily inventory of tools and equipment
  • Ability and willingness to communicate with external suppliers and internal customers of all levels.
  • Utilize and maintain Canopy System or any other related inventory databases.
  • Contribute to a cooperative working effort by demonstrating a willingness to perform other job-related work, as needed, or required.
  • Keep accurate records of parts inventory and incoming orders daily.
  • Receive and issue parts in system daily.
  • Issue tools and equipment to authorized personnel and maintain records of tools and equipment accountability
