Together, we secure everything from family garages to the world's most iconic stadiums and skyscrapers. We currently have an opening for a Maintenance parts room person. Purpose: Maintain inventory accuracy through monitoring and resolving CMMS inventory transactional activities, utilize cycle counting to account for miscellaneous inventory transactions, and investigate inventory discrepancies to improve accuracy.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Have a good understanding of the material process flow.
  • An individual should be able to manage small to medium-sized projects and have strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in mathematical calculation is a requirement.
  • Good mechanical aptitude with an understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic spare parts programs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in materials and/or receiving is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Oracle and CMMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for solving issues with maintenance spare parts.
  • Works closely with Plant Purchasing, Receiving, and Help Desk to resolve inventory transaction variances.
  • Able to work within a CMMS system.
  • In conjunction with Corporate A/P, Plant Purchasing, Receiving , and Suppliers, works to resolve receiving vs. A/P-PO matching variances.
  • Assists with physical inventories.
  • Completes monthly account reconciliations.
  • Coordinate and investigate all cycle counts.
  • Investigate and correct negative transfers.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to rebuild small hand tools.
  • Recommends solutions to improve inventory accuracy with findings from investigations. Participates and/or leads projects related to these solutions.
  • Facilitate receiving parts and inspecting them to the original order to ensure correct.
