Job Description Summary: Oversee all logistical aspects of projects that are related to outbound parts at Block Imaging. Provide logistical support on all parts bought and sold by Block Imaging Companies. Direct and control aspects of parts movement such as, transportation, warehouse, storage, inventory control, import/export, and operation handover. Essential Functions and Job Duties: Serve as advisor and handle escalations from the team on all outbound logistical matters. Ensure that all customers, buyers, sellers, and vendors etc., are pleased with the performance of Block Imaging's handling of outbound logistical issues. Plan and direct all aspects of parts outbound movement, meeting budget and timing requirements. Maintain and update all Company databases in a timely manner. Meet all reporting/recording requirements required by all government agencies. Develop knowledge of various medical imaging equipment to enhance technical understanding of the products. Understand and follow import and export requirements regarding parts shipments. Be available on call to handle logistic issues, due to the 24/7 nature of business. Work with Director of Parts Operations and HR to establish and communicate organizational structures and monitor and evaluate performance of team. Improve processes in support of organizational goals to maximize output. Assist in development of strategic plans; implements and manages operational activity. Manage relationships and work through escalations with carrier representatives. Understand and develop cost analysis with carriers. Accurately ship parts to meet or exceed customer expectations for quality, ease of use & timeliness. Perform other duties as assigned.
