About The Position

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Operate the Parts Department to produce a reasonable profit and return on investment
  • Monitor departmental performance and communicate progress to team members
  • Establish competitive pricing strategies for parts and accessories
  • Manage departmental expenses and implement effective cost control programs
  • Ensure the department is properly staffed and trained at all times
  • Coach employees and address performance issues quickly and effectively
  • Ensure cross-training so Parts team members can support all department functions
  • Keep catalogs, bulletins, product information, pricing, and programs up to date
  • Maintain strong working product knowledge to support customers and staff
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and flows efficiently between departments
  • Maintain accurate and controlled parts inventory levels
  • Oversee parts returns, warranty material returns, and purchasing practices
  • Conduct random 50-part inventory count inspections
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support business operations
