About The Position

Parts Management Mgr (Matls Mgmt and Transportation) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for Materials Management and Transportation to join our dynamic team in Berkeley, MO. Position Responsibilities Manages and integrates employees’ activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation. This position requires the ability to lead a team with minimal oversight Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options. This position is for 1st shift. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Requirements

• A minimum of 3+ years of progressive experience in materials management, supply chain, or logistics is required.
• 3+ years of proven supervisory or team leadership experience is essential.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with data and inventory management modules.
• Experience in leading and managing cross-functional projects and teams.
• 3+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment, providing day-to-day operational support and issue resolution.
• This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivocal experience
• Experience leading cross-functional or cross business unit teams
• Experienced in warehousing and systems including receiving, grief and inventory management
• Experienced using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook, Etc.)
