About The Position

We are looking for a Parts Inventory Manager to join our team at our Lincoln location.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of progressive parts operations experience (multi-store preferred)
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles including turns, GMROI, fill rate, and carrying cost
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and operational KPIs
  • Data-driven decision maker
  • Process-oriented with continuous improvement mindset
  • Financially disciplined
  • A valid driver’s license is required

Responsibilities

  • Manage parts inventory across all AKRS locations to achieve defined financial and operational goals
  • Establish inventory investment targets by store, category, and season
  • Monitor inventory turns, fill rates, gross margin contribution, and obsolescence levels
  • Develop forecasting models aligned with equipment population and service absorption goals
  • Implement and refine just-in-time (JIT) ordering practices
  • Develop cross-store transfer protocols to reduce duplication
