Aspen is a growing business looking for people with energy, drive and passion to contribute to our team. The Parts Salesperson / Inventory Coordinator reports to the Parts Supervisor. The primary responsibilities of this person will be to write parts estimates/orders and handle inventory storage, shipping, receiving, distribution and organization for the entire Product Support facility.

  • Strong detail orientation and ability to keep data integrity through multiple transactions (verbal and data input).
  • Patient disposition and ability to resolve conflicts.
  • Able to identify procedure and process improvements and advise the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Basic accounting skills and knowledge of electronic payment systems.
  • At least one year experience in customer service with over-the-counter sales, preferably in dealership or service setting environment.
  • Experience with inventory and orders in an ERP or database system.
  • Basic computer proficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to learn and cross-train in other areas of the department.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift and Loader operation preferred.
  • Preference given to persons with previous experience in heavy equipment to include Trucks & Trailers.

Responsibilities

  • Works with customers and technicians to fill parts requirements with general supervision.
  • Assist in purchasing requirements for local vendors as needed to replenish consumables, complete work orders or fill customer orders.
  • Perform Shipper / Receiver / Inventory tasks.
  • Pick inventory based on order requirements.
  • Loading and unloading products on/off trailers with Forklift.
  • Serve as a local pick up and delivery driver as needed to provide excellent customer service.
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized.
  • Verifies all incoming freight by checking packing lists, reports shortage or damages to the supplier or carrier.
  • Receives all purchase orders electronically and physically by restocking shelves.
  • Process material transactions in ERP system.
  • Participate in Full Inventory and Cycle Counts.
  • Assists with inventory management related activities as directed by supervisor.
  • Prepare invoices for all over the counter, initiate billing and receive payment for parts and services.
  • Follows Aspen’s safe work practices and procedures, uses safety equipment when required, responds to suggestions for working safely and seeks assistance when necessary. Ensures proper safety, care, and maintenance of company equipment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
