About The Position
The Parts Counter Person plays a vital role in customer satisfaction by accurately answering questions about automotive parts and accessories in person or by phone. This position involves locating parts from inventory or external sources, coordinating delivery and installation, and maintaining stock and warehouse organization. Requirements
- Previous automotive or dealership experience preferred
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Professional, dependable, with a helpful and friendly attitude
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer and internet skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds software is a plus
Responsibilities
- Receive and stock incoming automotive parts and accessories
- Locate parts and accessories and arrange for their installation
- Monitor and maintain parts inventory
- Stay informed about current vehicles, accessories, and promotions
- Maintain accurate sales documentation and generate timely reports
- Ensure safe and prompt parts delivery following company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support dealership operations
